"Dope on the Pope"

In The Light of the Jewish Idea of Rabbi Kahane

by Nachum Shifren

Date rape comes to mind whenever the relationship is mentioned between the Vatican and Jerusalem. Who's to blame for the massive desecration of the Holy Land by the greatest enemy of the Jewish people? And just like the promiscuous girl who throws caution to the wind through her teasing, do we now absolve her of any blame?

Word came out in the last few days that the Jews of Rome are once again in danger of being threatened with grave harm. Previous Italian governments had always provided security at synagogues and cultural/educational institutions, providing police squad cars, armored personnel carriers, and/or troops with automatic weapons as a deterrent to the not so few evildoers seeking to avenge their Palestinian brothers.
Now, inexplicably (oh really?), that "protection" has been removed (does it bother anyone that Jews are only allowed to have a normal life either behind ghetto walls (Johannesburg) or through massive security measures (Europe)?

Seems the Pope is doing some saber rattling of his own in an attempt to institute Vatican sovereignty on what he claims is part of the Church's claim on land in Jerusalem. But like the teasing girl before her pursuer, how did the government of Israel tempt the evildoer? What did they say to make them think they ever had a chance to claim ANY land? Well, for starters, Israel agreed to the building of a fifty million dollar Mormon Church many years ago. Ask any anti-missionary organization and they'll tell you that Jerusalem is a haven for any wacko Goy with an agenda-with full protection of the law and the police. Just go and try to stop them or harass them! You'll wind up in jail, and the anti-Jewish propaganda you hoped to destroy will reach its destination...

A Gentile friend of mine commented naively when made aware of this sick comedy: "But I thought that all of the Land of Israel was given to the Jewish people by G-d." So simple, really, that even the Israeli government hadn't thought of it. Meanwhile, we're waiting for some kind of "deal" from Olmert that will let Italian Jews survive one more day without being put to the jihaddist sword as they leave their synagogues. More prostration and self-debasement before the Goy. More shows of weakness and lack of national pride. Lest anyone think that this is the end, any government that has a problem with Israel's "insensitivity" toward the "palestinians" can now simply remove a few bricks from the ghetto walls of Jewish illusion meant for our security....

Rabbi Kahane, may Hashem avenge his blood, in his historic book "They Must Go", understood with prophetic accuracy, that if the "palestinians" are not removed from the Land of Israel, they will be as thorns in our eyes and a source of death and destruction. But before these rabble are kicked out, a more disturbing question needs to be asked: "What is the purpose of being Jewish and what is so special about Israel?"
Once we've understood this concept, we'll have our answer to the dope from the Pope YM"S.

There was once, many years ago, a great Jew who understood Jewish pride and survival. Judah, in his confrontation with Joseph, put it to him simply: "You are like Pharaoh: just as I will kill him if you do not release my brother, so will I kill you!" Question: Did it ever occur to Judah that he was one man against the entire Egyptian army? What mattered was not "considerations" (made so well by Jewish experts, apologists, and lemmings), but on what was right. The life of one Jewish boy, in Judah's mind, was worth going to war against an entire nation.

Olmert, read this week's Torah portion!
