Pink Floyd--Shove It!

In the Light of the Jewish Idea of Rabbi Meir Kahane
by Nachum Shifren

Those of you familiar with Rabbi Kahane's master treatise, "Artists and Imbeciles" will be able to go back to learning Torah, since this column will present concepts learned there.  For the rest of our friends, know one fact about the insane Nazis of Pink Floyd: they only become Middle East activists if there's a chance more Jews can be killed as a result of their activism.

And so, Roger Waters, of the "group" Pink Floyd-- humanitarian, man of peace, philosopher, and expert in all matters amounting to zilch-- was moved to offer the latest "korban" on the alter of shalom: "We need this generation of Israelis to tear down walls and make peace."

Being true to his sick ideology, he decided to "take his act on the road" and spray paint some graffiti on the Great Wall surrounding Jerusalem. Not that this pork (no pun) barrel project does anything to dissuade the murderers from killing Jews (it only inconveniences them), but what Waters finds so objectionable is that THERE IS THE POTENTIAL OF SAVING JEWISH LIVES.

What's even more painful here, is that a record 50, 000 Israelis went to see this malevolent individual rant and rave about peace efforts. Well, "our" guys were obviously not at the concert, otherwise Waters would have been introduced to the Hebrew concept of "moridim v'lo maalim" ( no breaks for a chump like you, Waters). More of interest than the Pink Floyd bilge being pumped into young Jewish skulls, is certainly the question: What are all those Israelis doing paying $ 75 (that's over 300 shekels!) to indulge in anti-Semitic barrages? If this were truly a Jewish country, he would have been tarred and feathered- and stuck to his drying graffiti.

We leave you with this thought: The entire country of Israel is set to go to war over ONE JEW! Only ONE! Where were these do-gooders when Rabbi Kahane was spit upon, hit with rocks and tomatoes, banned from the Knesset, ordered to prison for "administrative detention", boycotted by the entire Jewish establishment, had his political party labeled a "terrorist" group, and on and on....Why? Because it's so much simpler to go to war than to admit that you're wrong, that your fundamental grasp of Judaism is based on a lie and has nothing to do with the Jewish religion and philosophy. It's so sad, really. It doesn't need to be so. We truly hope this Jew is rescued and the family relieved of its anguish. But what will we say to the next family, and the next after that.....answer: KAHANE WAS RIGHT! Let us stop our denial and illusions, get real Jewish leaders that truly care about each individual Jew and will go the extra mile to cut off the hand of anyone trying to harm us!!

May the Righteous Redeemer come speedily in our days, regardless of our merits.
